PreKote replaces other pretreatments that contain toxic hexavalent chromium- the hazardous chemical that made Erin Brockovich a household name. Pantheon was awarded with the EPA non-CIU (Categorical Industrial User) status for the PreKote formula. Non-CIU status reduces certain oversight responsibilities including permitting, sampling, and inspection requirements.
